Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken is just like your favorite take out, but made with healthy & natural ingredients. A simple, easy & delicious recipe for an easy weeknight dinner!
Chinese take out has always been one of our favorites, but after making some dietary changes in the way my family eats, I really started questioning take out, in general. I mean, is it just me or does Chinese food start out delicious and satisfying, but then you’re hungry again 30 minutes after finishing…which leads me to wonder, what IS in that food??
If you love Honey Garlic Chicken, then you’re in luck because this version is just as delicious, if not more, than your typical take out, but you can pronounce all the ingredients and it will leave you full and satisfied long after the dinner dishes are done.
This Honey Garlic Chicken is grain, gluten and dairy free and uses coconut aminos in place of traditional soy sauce.

Place frozen chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together garlic, honey, coconut aminos and sriracha.
Pour mixture over chicken, cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Once chicken is done, remove chicken from crockpot and place in a separate bowl.
Add arrowroot flour to crockpot and whisk until the flour dissolves into the sauce.
Shred chicken and then add back into crockpot, mixing well.
Cover and continue cooking on low for 15 more minutes.
Serve over Cauliflower Fried Rice.
