Citrus Vinaigrette is a flavor packed, simple and delicious dressing recipe to enhance all your summer salads. Homemade, easy ingredients and naturally gluten and dairy free!
I think I’m in the minority here, but in general, I pass on salad dressings. I don’t really love most of them and this is probably really unAmerican, but I hate ranch. {maybe I shouldn’t admit that?!} I use to LOVE it, but when I changed the way I ate, I became disgusted with it {I’m sure there is something wrong with me, it’s fine}.
Anyway, one dressing that I do love is vinaigrette’s, especially fruity ones! This Citrus Vinaigrette is perfect for all my favorite summer salads and a little bit packs a huge punch. Plus it’s light and doesn’t overpower the other players in your salad!
Salad dressings really are so simple to make and they store great in the fridge. I encourage you to explore making your own always vs buying the prepackaged ones at the store. The store bought kind may seem more convenient, but I promise, homemade is easy and so much better for you! It’s also better for your wallet too!
I love a side salad of spinach and fresh berries drizzled in this dressing, but it’s also delicious with my favorite Blackened Chicken Bites on top, making it a main course salad!
