Apple Cinnamon Cake is an easy, delicious and moist cake using canned pie filling. Serve as dessert or a breakfast coffee cake!
This cake is the classic combination of sweet, spice and everything nice! It’s perfect served straight from the oven, but also delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top! You can also find me eating a leftover slice in the morning, warmed up with an extra large cup of coffee! The possibilities are endless!
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together almond flour, tapioca flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon.
In a small bowl, melt butter, then blend in eggs.
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix till batter forms.
Add in apple pie filling and mix till well incorporated.
Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish and pour batter into dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
While cake is baking, prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk and vanilla till smooth.
When cake is done, remove from oven and pour glaze over the top.
Serve warm!
