When I saw my friend Nicole, post her Pork Lettuce Wraps, I knew I needed them in my meal rotation ASAP. And by ASAP, I mean I needed them immediately, so I dug through my kitchen and created my own version, based on what I had on hand! I then proceeded to eat them for lunch every day until they were gone and didn’t share a single bite with my family…they’re that good!

How To Make Asian Lettuce Wraps

This recipe could not be easier. All your ingredients come together in one pan and you have yourself an easy and delicious meal in under 20 minutes!

  • Start by browning your ground turkey (or beef, chicken or pork – any ground meat will work), with a diced red pepper and crushed garlic clove.
  • While your meat is cooking, whisk together coconut aminos, honey, Sriracha, ground ginger and crushed red pepper flakes.

  • When meat is brown and red peppers are tender, drain excess grease from meat mixture (if needed) and pour sauce over meat, continuing to cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add in raw cashews and cook for additional 2-3 minutes, mixing well.

What Lettuce Do You Use For Wraps?

I prefer to use Butter Lettuce because it is sturdy and holds up well with the filling. Boston Lettuce works as well. If you prefer to use iceberg or romaine, I suggest turning this into a salad!

If you’re looking for a way to eat this without the lettuce wrap, I’ve also had it served over roasted sweet potatoes (delicious) and with my Cauliflower Fried Rice!
