Easy Chocolate Crinkle Cookies are just like the ones your grandma use to make, but better! These cookies are gluten free and packed with protein (almond butter + almond flour).
These delicious little bite sized brownies are chewy on the inside with a perfectly crispy outside, covered in powdered sugar. Easy Chocolate Crinkle Cookies will quickly become a holiday favorite and they’re safe to share with all your gluten free friends!
Cream butter, coconut sugar & almond butter in medium mixing bowl, using a hand mixer.
Add egg, blend to combine.
Add almond flour, baking soda, salt & cocoa and blend on low speed.
Stir in dark chocolate chips with a spoon.
In a separate bowl, add powdered sugar for coating cookies.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a small spoon, scoop cookie dough into hand and roll to form small balls.
Roll cookie dough ball in powdered sugar, coating well.
Place cookies on baking sheet, leaving at least 2 inches between each cookie.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cookies sit on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
