Spicy Grilled Chicken Marinade is an easy, 4 ingredient recipe, to make juicy, flavorful & mouthwatering chicken. This simple grilled chicken recipe will be a summertime favorite!
Grilling season is here and I couldn’t be more excited! Any meal that can be made on the grill is my favorite meal! We eat a lot of chicken and I find the key to not getting bored, is to have some super easy and delicious recipes in your back pocket. This Spicy Grilled Chicken Marinade will become your new summer favorite!
Letting your chicken marinade for 1-2 hours is plenty of time to give it flavor, but if you need to start the marinade in the morning, it’s fine to let it marinade in the refrigerator all day before grilling that night.
If you aren’t using the marinade to further coat the chicken on the grill (more about that in my post below), then yes, you should dispose of the leftover marinade since it was in contact with raw chicken and can make you sick.
Marinating chicken is a very simple process.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together garlic, ginger, coconut aminos and sriracha.
Place boneless, skinless, thawed chicken breast in large ziplock baggie.
Pour marinade over chicken and close baggie.
Massage marinade into chicken from the outside of the baggie.
Place baggie flat in refrigerator for 1-2 hours (can marinade all day if needed).
When ready to grill, heat grill to medium heat. Place chicken breasts on the grill (saving excess marinade in baggie).
Cook for 3-4 minutes, then flip chicken and pour excess marinade from baggie over the chicken.
Continue cooking chicken, flipping every 3-4 minutes, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
When chicken is done, remove from grill and serve.
